EB’s First Picture with Santa

November 24th, 2008 | Category: Family Blog, If you give a Mosue a Cookie

Tonight we took EB to see Santa for the first (and possibly only) time in her life.  Don’t worry Papa D, Mamaw Wilma, Honey, Grandaddio, Aunt Jessi and Uncle DK - we have plenty of prints for everyone!  It was a fun trip to see Santa - EB loved looking up at him - we actually had a hard time getting her to smile instead of stare at his beard.

Also, we got EB a walking toy the other day.

The funniest thing was her response to the “toy”.  While DB was putting it together, she crawled over to the box and pulled up on it and pushed it around much like the toy was meant to be pushed.  It was great - she instantly bonded with the box, but the toy she was a little slower to warm up to.  Now she pulls up on it and walks with it SIDEWAYS - not the way it was made to walk.  She is a funny girl.

Well, for all the blog fans out there —- I just recently (as of yesterday) discovered that there is a Internet service that covers our area, and it is a reasonable price. I am going to check into the possibility of having their service. But seeing how I am at the coffee shop now I should just go on and update you on our life………..

WELL - Things are coming together at our new home, the inside is almost finished (we are about to be out of boxes) Jeni said last night every thing will have a home before Monday! She is a BIG anti clutter person - If it hasn’t been worn in the past 48 hours watch out? !!

Jeni’s Job is going well, She is busy working on a project that will help, from the information side of the ministry. Developing a series of Videos that the prospective clients will watch as they come to Life Bridge for Help. This seems to be keeping her busy along with all the other demands of the ministry.

Youth Group - WoW - I am enjoying the opportunity but It has stretched me in several ways. Over this past weekend we took our first Road Trip to Bardstown for a Corn Maze. It was a great time. I have been spending some amazing time in the Word studying for school and Church I just wish i had the time to update my blog of Bible study. Days and Days of fruitful reading in the Old Testament - O have I ever told you how much I enjoy the O.T.

29th we have a big event @ our church called the Celebration Service - We (Jon and I) are both teaching on the subject of sacrifice. It is a Capital Growth Program focused on the spiritual side of our giving to God in money, time and service. Pray for us as we are both very busy working on sermons and visual aid.
