The Wright Family

DB and Jeni met in a classic mom & pop coffee shop in Louisville, KY on May 11, 2005.  It was a successful set up by a mutual friend, and after a whirlwind courtship, got married 6 months later in South Carolina during a widespread power outage due to an ice storm.  To our great joy, precious little Elizabeth Blaine (EB) was added to our family on February 21, 2008, born during a snowstorm in Kentucky.  Two and a half years later, on July 19th, 2010 Lorelai Joanne was born in the desert heat of Dubai, UAE. (No winter weather complications, but a power outage no less).

After living for two years in Central Asia, we now live in Athens, Greece (and have spent quite a bit of time traveling other places, including the UAE, Indonesia, India, and Thaliand) and expect that this blog is mostly for our family and friends to watch our sweet girls grow up, keep tabs on where in the world we are from month to month, and catch a glimpse of what life is like for our little family in Greece.  Mostly comprised of pictures and videos, this blog often functions as what a blog was originally meant to be: an online journal of our activities and thoughts about life.  Thanks for stopping by, and feel free to drop me a note or leave a comment!
